Our Motorcycle Adventure: The Grand Alpes Route

Our journey begins in the charming town of Remich in Luxembourg, where we'll hit the road early, heading towards Thonon-les-Bains. This first leg of the trip will be primarily on the highway to save some time, giving us a chance to ease into the adventure while enjoying the open road. Once we arrive in Thonon, we'll be ready to take on the next day with full energy.

On Day 2, we set off from Thonon-les-Bains and make our way towards Lanslebourg Mont Cenis, a stunning mountain village nestled in the French Alps. The route will be scenic and thrilling, a perfect blend of winding roads and breathtaking views. By the end of the day, we'll rest in this picturesque destination, recharging for what's to come.

Day 3 takes us through a 215 km stretch to the quaint town of Guégnier. This will be an exciting ride, as we wind through the Alps and immerse ourselves in the stunning landscapes. Once we arrive, we'll relax and prepare for our next adventure.

On Day 4, we will finally reach the Mediterranean coast, arriving in Menton, where we can take a break and refuel both our bikes and ourselves. After soaking in the coastal beauty, we’ll head towards our next destination, Levens, for a well-deserved rest in our hotel.

Day 5 will see us embarking on a 245 km ride to Savines-le-Lac, a tranquil spot by the lake, where we’ll spend the night and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The journey so far will have been a perfect blend of exhilarating mountain passes and relaxing lakeside moments.

From Day 6 onwards, we switch things up a bit and head towards the iconic Chamonix Mont Blanc, where the towering peaks will leave us in awe. We’ll spend some time soaking in the beauty of this famous region, before crossing the border into Switzerland on Day 7, where we’ll settle in Tiefenbach for two nights. During these two days, we’ll tackle some of the most famous passes in the Alps, including the Furka Pass, Susten Pass, and Grimsel Pass. Each pass offers thrilling roads, stunning views, and an unforgettable riding experience.

On Day 8, we’ll make our way to Freiburg, where we’ll spend the night before heading home. This marks the final stretch of our journey, filled with the satisfaction of unforgettable memories and the thrill of the open road.
